That was beautiful nostalgic presentation! You've managed to accomplish in under three months with vivid detail friend! Your style is so very reminiscent to animation almost long gone and barely even ventured, unless you happen to be the next John K. now (Just joshing buddy!). Your us in audio was fascinating too. I've heard some of those tracks before too since I play alot of nostalgic video games. But What really won me over was your use of animation and a simple story told about a child overcoming his fears and nightmares. You brought a good interesting topic and subject that always rings in the mind. The power of night terrors or the psyche of a child is very important in the healthy development of children. Everyone at a certain age fears the dark (Not the darkness itself but what resides within the darkness) and depends on protections against such malevolent forces in order to quell their innocent minds. Night terrors can be associated with this topic to a certain extent but nightmares was more of the subject manner of this short here. Your protagonist a lone child felt icy chilled fears envelop within his mind and young heart. Yet he strummed up the courage to overcome his fears and put them back in his place. What felt like a bit of lucid dreaming in the end where he regains control of himself and peace of mind in order to fend off the darkness from whence they came. it was pure classic and grade A topic in my book! For that I'm going to bestow you a 4 in a half out of 5. And a 5/5 in voting power. Keep practicing, creating and contributing here. I hope you've enjoyed this review as I have enjoyed this short. Good day.
