To me its one of the best games ever conceived into this world. Its a bit of a rehash of the first game, Yet it seems it has bit of surprises for players that have admired the series. When you first step foot into Fortune City you see a typical man who looks ragged and slightly worn from within. Yet what keeps Chuck Greene going is the survivability of his daughter, Who he must a strange experimental drug called Zombrex which prevents her from turning. Chuck encounters alot of bizarre things in his stay in Fortune City, Especially when theres a conspiracy lingering in the air. Encounter survivors, psychopaths and endless hoardes of a bunch of shuffaling undead. I felt many emotions in gameplay wise. I felt courageous, shock, fear, anger, ect. When your neck deep in the undead...What else is there to do? I really did enjoy my Christmas present. I'm looking up into getting Dead Rising 2: Zero Case and Case West to see a prequel and a sequel in this game's story. And now to ask you my fellow Newgrounders this unique question. Who are your faivorite character in these games and why? Till I post again Newgrounders, Good Day!

hmm... i was never really much of a gamer and i don't know any of the characters too the game but... i have seen the commercials and i always thought it was a comedy base game, you know, when he had those gigantic pink boxing gloves on, or a moose head over his head! i didn't think it be an action game! or is it both? comedy and action? like "Shaun of the Dead"?

Basically is a horror-comedy if you will. I can't lie to you that in Dead Rising and in Dead Rising 2 there some dark moment with a tiny sliver of comedy to break some of the intensity off. When you face off against survivors called "Psychpaths" You'll see some strange dark comedic things in a game that one doesn't think is possible. And yes there are unique weapons to use in the game that feel reminiscent to Shaun of the Dead. Buy or rent a copy today and have a blast!
